A coffee for $3.50: Argentina is the most expensive country in Latin America

Venti ice Latter in Starbucks Palermo is now 7500 pesos, more like $6.5 dollar,
My usual lunch at 'por pesos' around 10K pesos, everything label here is like Arizona benchmark,
Only difference is something may be more expensive than in California.

Buenos Aires is the most expensive city of the planet right now except for rentals . Food , medicines , clothing . electronics are vastly more expensive here than Europe and of course quality far inferior . I cannot understand how anyone could believe that things are getting better when clearly they are not . Only in a few neighbourhoods can you see good economic activity most of the city of Buenos Aires is suffering very badly as businesses struggle to make ends meet . The costs to maintain a business today are sky high and with low turnover many are closing down .

Everything here is outrageously expensive but especially medicines that are produced in Argentina . This has a huge effect on the population who cannot access basic medical needs

5 times more expensive than in Spain, that is just horrible.

Here in the northern part of Villa Urquiza, I haven't seen too many places closing yet, but you can tell they are hurting. I personally no longer visit places where I used to spend money on a very regular basis. I recently stopped going to the bakery, and I have resumed baking my own bread at home, something I used to do, but had fallen out of the habit of doing. I no longer visit the fiambrería, and I spend much, much less at the dietetica.

The incredible detail about the medicine is that most are made here under license but they are much more dearer than spain and the usa . Vitamins and minerals in health food stores are so outrageous in price that it seems that they want the population to be unwell . In regards to health foods here have you seen the prices in dieteticas they are so outrageous now that it seems that you have to be rich to buy some greek yoghurt and some high quality olive oil

Right now I am in Spain. I live here not visiting. If you don’t live in Barcelona and Madrid, even the rent is cheaper here. Food is cheap everywhere and delicious. Shopping, medicine, furniture as well. In Argentina we pay OSDE 850 USD for 4, in Spain just got quoted 250 dollars yesterday. If rent is the only reason to live in BsAs, Spain got a lot of coastal towns with a lot to offer.

not even close.
some things are very expensive.
some things are still pretty reasonable.
restaurant and hotel prices are still way below most of the USA, especially cities of comparable size.
imported items are very expensive, due to Milei not changing any of the duties, tarifs, customs and mail rules that generally double the price.
but there are still labor based things here that are not that expensive.
we are doing a remodel right now, and our construction costs, including many but not all materials, are still far below US or Canada.
I recently got a refill on a prescription gout medication, at my corner pharmacy, less than half of what Costco charges in the USA.
I do not live in Europe, so I cant speak to that.
buy local. eat local.

The most important items in life are much more expensive in Argentina than overseas . One is good qualty food health food stores are the most expensive in the planet with prices for olive oil greek yoghurt nuts vitamins three times european prices . Restaurants for basic ethnic food ie mexican , chinese, indian are double UK prices . I went to Saigon restaurant in San Telmo a hole in the wall restaurant now 40 us dollars for a simple dinner same meal in London 20 pounds maximum . Indian food the same half price in the UK . In regards to medicines every item I see at the local pharmacy is vastly more expensive than Europe prices . I posted a clear article that states that medicines in Argentina are 5 times dearer than Spain . Did you read it?
