Afghan Food In Ba?

Okay, I am wondering what did you like about Afghani food? Tom and I were there a million years ago ( 1976 ) just before the Russians invaded. We were never invited into anyone's home, so my only food experiences were in restaurants. For me, Afghani food is right up there in the top 2 or 3 worst foods in the world category, except their bread. Someone mentioned tandoori chicken, not Afghani.

Cooking in tandoor ovens is certainly done in Afghanistan. Its much like the cuisine in Iran I find in that if you aren't invited into homes to eat you will certainly go away thinking the food is somewhere below Argentina in terms of quality.

The food is excellent and some of it similar to Indian - they also had nan breads for example. I thought there was once a resto called "Delicias de Kabul" in BA but I may be wrong there........not sure how big the Afghan community is in BA and whether any of them frequent this site. I did notice Afghan cuisine is getting very popular in the USA these days

Yes the great thing about the US is you can get all sorts of Afghan, Vietnamese, Korean, Iraqi, Panamanian etc. food. So the obvious solution here would be to get Argentina to likewise invade a few defenceless countries so we can get some decent eats.

Hope not ! at least not Afghan food which is very similar to Iranian . Can do without Koresht , Khorma and other Palau dishes. What could Argentina Invade Paraguay? Bolivia? not worth the effort.
