Airport exit taxes

It is now included in the ticket. no more pay at the booth line. Gone.

I flew out of Barbados about ten years ago. They charged me an exit tax, I was not expecting it and only just had enough money. Of course I have no idea if they still charge, but I always have my credit card now just in case.

I flew out of B.A. on July 13th. The woman at the ticket counter told me I did not have to pay the tax.

(I booked my ticket with Expedia.com and flew on United (if that's of any help))

I had to pay exit taxes leaving from:
- Cuba 25 USD + 10% US(D) tax
- Ecuador 41 USD
- Syria 15 or 20 USD don't remember
- Armenia 20 USD
- Costa Rica 26 USD

I'm flying out using miles. I wonder... I just remembered that I had to pay like US$60 when I purchased my ticket with miles. I guess that the airport tax was part of that.

Bienvenidos a las '90s Argentina! It's good to have you!!!
