Anyone have a good allergist they can recommend? I have OSDE and am in Recoleta but also have many doctors in Belgrano. Thank you all in advance
 
Where have all the expats gone?! For seven years I've shared resources and referrals here and now I'm asking for anyone's personal good experiences with an allergist or even a dermatologist who might specialize in rashes. I've been bounced around by various Drs here and my problem keeps coming back. I'd just like to end up in the hands of someone who can diagnose and treat this very uncomfortable situation. I have a guide for locating doctors by specialties..I know how to use it. But I believe medical specialists are best found by the positive reports of their patients. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
I wish I knew of someone, so I could help. As for your question -Where ARE the expats? Maybe a lot of people are traveling for the month surrounding the holidays? I've noticed, also, that conversations aren't as numerous or lively as usual, and I'm hoping that everyone will leap back in with that post-election-day gusto.

A dermatologist, I can help with. Maria de los Angeles Garofalo, Larrea 1007 6A, 4822 7852. Knowledgable and personable, works with OSDE.
 
I know this is reaching but acupuncture might be the answer. If you want, I can recommend the person who is giving me PT for my feet. And she did cure T's heart burn, no more drugs for him.

Thanks Nancy.. I've used acupuncture successfully for many things, but others not so well. This seems more either a med reaction or allergy. But shortly after I go off of the meds to treat the symptoms it comes back. Had it once several years ago as well. And can it itch! :(
 
I live in Palmero and I'm looking for an allergist- I need a skin prick test for documentation for an egg allergy and hoping to have it done here in BA- just a simple appointment. Thank you in advance. Lorianne
