American Way Of Birth, Costliest In The World...

The sequence goes like this:

1) "pro-life" (gotta save them babies) then
2) "pro-poverty" (those dead beat freeloaders don't deserve no food stamps) then
3) "pro death-penalty" (who cares what kind of environment they were raise in, they deserve to pay for their crimes.

America!!!!!!

I am curious. Although these 3 issues are inter-related in some ways, how is a pro-life stance incompatible with a merciful attitude towards poverty, and even less so, what your view on the death penalty is?

@Tex - Just trying to provide a humorous view of a pro-choice prospective.

I don't have the pleasure of knowing you in real life, therefore I do not assume you are a conservative, republican, or anything else.

Cheers!

Thank God. But I don't think the pro-choice perspective is humorous at all. In fact, if we are merciful people, then how can you not be merciful to the unborn? It seems rather inconsistent to me. I have had some personal experiences that make me somewhat passionate about this issue I suppose.

Another "pro life" Right wing asshole form Texas spouting in the name of God. Give it rest. Women have the right to make a choice and a right to be responsible for that choice. End of topic. It is not up to your God or any one of 5000 other gods.

Don't ask me. I have no clue how the mind of the average Republican works. I confess to making a generalization, but those are typically the positions of your average Republican politician/voter. Especially in TexASS!

I think that killing unborn babies is wrong, not that there's nothing wrong with conservatives (in fact there's a lot). But posting George Carlin isn't humorous at all. Why is it that if someone wants to save unborn children, you hate women and all that crap... Seriously. Go against big pharma they're the ones that contribute all that money to politicians who then make laws (or fail to make them) to make our healthcare system such a crappy one. Tell me how to fix healthcare, tell me how to reduce teen pregnancy, tell me how to help underprivileged moms. Don't tell me how to kill babies. Why is it that adoption is never considered, why is it that it has to be so hard to reach an understanding with something that should be so fundamental. Show me any animal that would kill it's offspring and tell me what you think. It's time for real options, not the same old b.s.

And as far as being the richest nation, well... we do have the highest GDP (and will have it for another 3 years), but how "rich" are you if you make 25M a year and have expenses for 40?
