Anyone Know Of Good Websites For American Tv Shows/movies?

there are tears of happiness trickling down my face at the thought of being able to watch a whole show online. thank you everyone!

I have a toshiba, and after a virus from downloading some torrent site (or a possible porn addiction by the ex) wounded my computer, the computer guy put some anti-virus program on it called Malwarebytes- anyone know if it is any good?

i just got a kindle and only read on it- is there any risk of going to any of these sites on it- i have no idea if kindle comes with an antivirus thingy or if i have to download one. i have zero tech competancy.

Malwarebytes is very good. It's not your typical anti-virus program, as it's an anti-malware program, but it's a lot better than whatever most people install (avast, kaspersky etc).

As for the kindle, as long as you just read and download e-books from the amazon store you'll be fine, no worrying about viruses needed.

Netflix, for here, is amazing, but it has a pretty limited catalogue. The streaming thing aside from netflix is good in theory, but it ends up being a pain in the ass most of the time. The slow internet in Argentina combined with the fact that all the streaming links go down within days can end up being very annoying.

Torrenting (once you get used to it) is very easy. Download uTorrent from their website, visit a site like torrentz.eu and search for the show/episode you want (look for the results that have a green checkmark behind them), download the .torrent file, and just click it once it has downloaded and it will automatically do the rest, and download the episode to your PC. After you're done watching, you can just delete the file and done. The quality of this is ALOT better, and you don't have to wait for the episode to buffer.

If you're in a relationship with an Argie that watches your shows with subtitles, one program that has saved my marriage is http://subdownloader.net/

You point this app at the directory holding your video files, and tell it what language(s) to look for, and it'll find all those that exist in 1 step.

Free if you're running Linux, shareware for Windows (I run linux from a virtual machine and it all works beautifully)

Malwarebytes is not an antivirus program, do not expect it to behave like one.

1. i dont know what 'pointing an app' even means- i used to point my phone in the air while i drove in rush hour to shazam the same song 9 times in a week without realizing it, but other than that, clueless as to what pointing an app could mean.

2. i have no concept of how an antivirus program behaves. i turn on my computer, type 80 words a minute- with many run ons and too few semi colons and then put it to sleep.

i should have clarified that i have negative computer skills or aptitude.

icefilms.info is a good source. you'll have to wade through some ads, but if you carefully close all of them, you'll get to the content. it also allows for downloads.

veetle.com is a good one for popular sports.

You are so helpful!

I just did a really stupid download of a program that would allow me to view sites in the US and UK via firefox....
BAD NEWS!
I get this terrible page selling things
when I try to reach bravo or bbc!
it has taken over my ability to access bravo or bbc!
and firefox does not give me the ability to go backwards...
i was nervous and did system restore...
and that did not protect me

BE CAREFUL!
