I have a working student coming in 2 weeks and can't figure out how to pay it online. I get an error message when I try to enter the https://virtual.provinciapagos.com.ar website and http://www.provinciapagos.com.ar takes you to a general website.

Turns out they changed the link to pay, and then rather than redirecting you to the right place, make you click at least 3 links to pay. Ahhh Argentina...

And as for that other service, who is paying $20 for someone to fill out an online form for them?

btw - if you want to do them a favor (or keep the change yourself), pay the fee with an arg. credit card, as the fee is then charged in pesos at the official rate. I did this for relatives coming here, and was not charged the 35%.

(it appears the fee is actually charged in pesos, only that on a US card of course that gets converted to dollars).

Yes and it's 1280 pesos (no 35% fee!) so it's really like $120USD... $40 savings! Before January i had done it with my bf's CC for 2 friends who came to visit and it was about $100 each ... sweet deal for them.
