That's where I got a turno for tomorrow. Bajo what is the current estimated delivery time for the new DNI, wondering if I will get it before I fly home for the holidays? When I got my latest DNI as extranjero last month it took 3 weeks but with the DNI argentino I guess it would take longer since they need to assign a new DNI number.

Depends, check it out your finger print at the carta de ciudadanía. Delays has almost always to do with bad finder prints.

Will the boarder officer see I m Argentine in their system if use my other passport? I won’t have an Argentine passport in time for my trip in December so I have no option but use my EU passport.

According to this if I have been in Argentina for less than 6 months as if my last entry, I can leave on foreign passport. This is my case I recently arrived from Brasil.

Nacionalidad adquirida means you are Argentine and you got a second citizenship.

To use a foreign ID in Argentina is a legit reason to cancel your citizenship.

I had to leave also before I got my new DNI and Argentina passport. Now I have my citizen DNI, and I return next week (with my US passport) to get my Argentina passport. How do I get past migraciones? My plan is to simply tell the truth, and bring all my documentation, carta de ciudadanía, etc.

Based on the text below you'd be just fine. They will stamp your US passport and write "argentino" under the stamp.

Argentinos que se hubieran naturalizado en países con los cuales la República Argentina NO ha suscripto Convenio de Doble Nacionalidad.

• Egreso:
  Los argentinos naturalizados en los países antes citados, para salir del país deberán presentar documento argentino de viaje hábil y vigente.
• Reingreso:
  a) Al momento del reingreso a la República Argentina deberá presentar documento argentino de viaje hábil.
  En el caso de presentar solamente el pasaporte de la nacionalidad adquirida, hábil y vigente, en el que conste su condición de ARGENTINO, se les podrá intervenir aquél estampándose el sello de INGRESO con la leyenda "ARGENTINO" manuscrita bajo el sello, sin especificar plazo alguno.
  En el caso en que no constare la condición de argentino en la documentación extranjera, y el ingresante la invocara, deberá acreditar dicho extremo mediante la presentación de documento de identidad argentino (Documento Nacional de Identidad, Libreta Cívica o Cédula de Identidad emitida por la Policía Federal Argentina).
  Esto no habilitará el documento intervenido para la salida posterior del país, debiendo a tal efecto presentar documento argentino de viaje hábil y vigente. El funcionario actuante al ingreso deberá dar aviso de esta situación al titular del documento, al momento de su ingreso.
