Applying for citizenship via email

Here is the digital Formulario de Inicio instead of the crappy photocopy they give you at Talcahuano with just 2mm of writing space. Use the typewriter function on your PDF reader to complete the information in a neat manner.

That is great. I also wish they would put a checkbox of documents you need to submit, instead of just saying "i am submitting the following documents." BTW I just found out what the "V.S." on the form means, even my native Argentine mother didn't know.... it's "Vuestra Senoria" (your honor).

Spoke with the migraciones at EZE. They said you can even apply when you’re abroad via email.

No need. Sr. Juez Federal is more than enough.

But I think citizenship got nothing to do with migraciones as it is decided by the court? Is this correct?

Lanick, I would believe Bajo_cero2 any day before I would believe Migraciones. In many years of experience with Migraciones they are nothing but incompetent. One person says one thing and five others each say something different. They are not Argentina's best and brightest.

I would believe Bajo_cero2 any day as well. Luckily got nothing to do with immigration matters. And yes, I know some officials to just get rid of you say “si, si se puede” :).

Anna, I think that Bajo_cero2 may be right about Courtroom # 5 being the worst in CABA. I just looked at photos of Judge Patricio Maraniello on the internet and my first impression is not positive. I will inquire about requesting a switch of courtrooms.
