I have my documents from the USA (along with certifications and Apostles) and now need in addition to get a "background check/ fingerprints" here in Argentina. Where can I do that? Does any police station work? How do I get this background check and fingerprints here in Argentina? Also, I need to have my American documents translated by a certified translator. Does anyone know where to find a certified translator here in Argentina? Thanks,

I'm going to do the police certificate here: http://www.dnrec.jus.gov.ar/Atencion_Particulares.aspx ... There are various locations, some require an appointment, others do not.

If you need a translator, I have a couple of jobs in progress with Lucila Norry. She's a public translator, and she's very reliable. I sent her an e-mail on a Friday to get something translated by Monday, and she was able to get it done by my deadline. I highly recommend her. Her e-mail is legenglish(AT)gmail.com
