i see that the price of electronics is quite high in BA... does this include electric razors? i don't see a way to bring mine to BA. i just use a cheapo US$20 electric razor and have perma-stubble lol - will i be able to get something like that in BA for a reasonable price? thanks in advance

You can get a sense for that here:

Mercado Libre tends to have relative bargains, but keeps pace as well with what may be available new in chain stores (in fact most of the sellers on mercado libre are stores, it's different than ebay that way). Here's a link to one of the better known electronics chains: http://www.garbarino.com/productos/...os/buscar.php?buscador=afeitadora&b.x=5&b.y=7

ALL electronics are more expensive here, unfortunately.

I've gone trough several brands since I've gotten here. The best I've found is cordless, made by GAMA Italy, and you can find it at any "Farmacity" for about 100 pesos.

That's a great question. I'm still using the Norelco shaver that I bought in the US 6 years ago, its a tough old thing but I can only find replacement foils in the US. I'll check out Gama when this thing finally dies. I bought a Phillips trimmer for my beard nearly 3 years ago in Bs. As., its also been reliable.
