Argentina Announces Expat Amnesty Program

Great news! Argentina has just announced a new expat amnesty program that will allow non-Mercosur residents to apply for and get a DNI and residency.

Once you apply, you may not leave the country until your application is fully processed. Estimated wait times are from 14 – 365 days.

They might as well just say "whenever we get to it."

The program makes sense, it's a pretty smart policy. They're basically capitalizing on wealthy expats. It changes a lot for those of us working in black who can't get visas.
