However, a report on NPR the day before yesterday said that roughly two percent of US residents were paying attention to the soccer tournament. They were having trouble selling advertising for it, but it has to try to pay its own way here (There is no "Soccer for Everybody").
Mistaken. I merely said that a poll had shown that the majority of Argentines paid it little attention, though it remains the most popular spectacle (as opposed to "sport").
