Argentinian government is taking over Vicentin?

It is likely no accident that the debt renegoiation has come unbuckled just after the Vicentin fiasco.

How can you sign a contract with someone that just ignored rule of law?

How can you grant three years of non-payment to a debtor that follows an almost certain path to ruin?

Yesterday it was reported that they failed to get agreement and looks like they will fail to get agreement by 19JUN. They probably knew it was going nowhere a while ago, it is just an AF trying to win an oscar for best supporting actor. IMO frankly they just don't care how internationals react anymore. Time to plunder whatever is left to take and throw out some political smoke bombs to distract the people. But runners....

What with Vicentin, LATAM, and the debt negotiation mess, the blue dollar is at $123 this morning.

Just don't ask him difficult questions on the subject - not like he wants to curb media freedom or impose a form of censorship or anything....

I mean, we knew from before he was elected he does not take kindly to things he does not want to hear.

Dude anyone who thinks they're ever getting paid is delusional. All they're doing is deciding how much to not get paid in 3 years.

No one is ever getting paid. What makes them think Argentina will be able to pay in the future? There is no possibility.

"Under the slogan "In defense of the Republic and Freedom" the agricultural sector will mobilize at the national level, and will once again express its discomfort at the government's progress on private property, based on the decision to intervene and expropriate the Vicentin agro-export company. More than 50 districts of the country adhere to the call."

Protests will take place on Saturday at 16:00 in locations including Mendoza, Posadas, Bahia Blanca, Mar del Plata, Rosario, Tandil, Chaco, Olavarria, Bariloche, Cipolletti and Jujuy.
