If Mauricio Macri was in cahoots with his cousin or was otherwise profiting from the theft of state money as described in the above linked Forbes article, then he should be tried or impeached and brought to justice. He, as well as all other parties complicit in the theft of state funds, should be incarcerated AND be forced to repay the stolen money. This should include recapturing money sent abroad whether to Panama, Switzerland or whether stored in convent vaults. Further, all owned real estate and any property of value should be liquidated and be returned to the state . Does anyone really disagree with that?
Now, let's see the proof that Mauricio Macri, himself, was complicit. We already have the incontestable proof that the Kirchners were. They should be stripped of all property of value including traceable gifts to family and friends or sent abroad. Does anyone disagree with that?

Clearly points out that this is a crisis that is at it roots from K and friends. Not only have they stolen they have put the very country and its citizens at risk.

An entire article is published about corruption in the K era. (I have no idea if the article is accurate or not, but that's beside the point).

What do we do?
Simple: grab a screenshot of one place where Macri is mentioned - his cousin, to be precise, but who cares? - and pretend the rest never happened.
Voila!

P.S. Not sure it's a K thing. Maybe it's just a bajo thing.

The Kirchner's are not im power anymore. The Macri Machine keeps the distortions and blame game going, while they rob Argentina of what's left. The end game is near for them.

Who cares? Let me ask these questions:

1) Will anyone other than fall guys be put in jail / executed? No

2) Will any significant portion of the money be recovered? No

3) Will those who gained money through corruption still have use of the money to corrupt the political process? Yes

4) Is anyone really surprised by this? No

The business men, the institutions, the unions, the politicians, they are all corrupt. The everyday citizen, the one who has been taught to obey the state from birth, is harvested by all these people for personal profit.

I will tell you how it will work. The same group of people who profited from this will throw a few fall guys under the bus. Maybe some personal assets will be seized in the process. They will advocate for some tough anti corruption laws that are little more than paper tigers (aka "structural / institutional reforms"). The Argentine people will be euphoric with the coming utopia of a finally corruption free country. All the while the same people will be moving chess pieces for the next con to rob the people of money. Rinse and repeat.

The author has the opinion that the tax payers paid 36 billion too much because prices of public projects were fixed to be too expensive. That is different from sending around 36 billion dollars in bags for kickbacks.

As if price fixing would not occur anywhere else. Microsoft, Intel and Google have all been fined billions of dollars as many more companies take part in anti-competitive practices. If you believe (the flawed logic of) Trump, China is screwing the US 10 times more than this amount per year.

Is this thread about neoliberals who want all price fixing be banned? Anti competitive behaviour should not be tolerated, but let's not get melodramatic, we know that Argentina is not a free market economy.
