What style (chupin/skinny, recto/straight) do you prefer and what size usually fits the best?

The "best" jeans I've bought in Argentina in the past five years have been Levis 519:

Mercado Libre

And a similar (almost exactly the same as the 519s) model of Lidace:

I bought two pair of the Levis from individual "private" sellers who sold them as used but both were new with tags and less than half the retail store or mercado libre price at the time. Both are size 32x32 and fit perfectly (on me slightly recto and not at all skin tight because I am FLACO!). The current retail price is insanely expensive!

I bought three pair of the Lidace jeans from the same seller (jeanvaljean) as in the link above. The size 40 fit almost exactly the same as the Levis 32 x 32). Both the Levis and the Lidace are more than long enough for me, and the qualify of the fabric is almost equal.

In my opinion, at $60.000 the Lidace are a much better value and way less than half the retail price of the Levis!

I also bought a three pack of size 42 Rogers jeans that now sell for less than $70.000 on Mercado Libre. They're really super skinny, even on me they're OK for daily wear here at the quinta, but I prefer wearing the Levis or the Lidace when I go to Punta Alta.

The Rogers jeans are well worth the cost but the chupin model has not been available in size 42 for about a year. I may try the recto version in the near future if the length is sufficient (always check the sizing guia).

If you are looking for jeans that you know, try Amazon ... on the Amazon profile use your Argentine address ... open the jeans you want to consider ... to the right are filters ... check "free shipping" ... you have to buy $199 worth of merchandise to qualify for free shipping ... you also get some sort of import/customs waiver on up to $400 per order ... I believe you can do this 4 or 5 orders a year... delivery, of course, is maybe a couple of weeks ... my phone was stolen a few months ago and I could not find a phone down here that matched my provider(s) requirements except for expensive top-of-the-line models ... found a Samsung in the "Argentina eligible" list and had to buy a good case to get to the $ 199 minimum ... delivery was sketchy, but they did come through, and I am satisfied ... well worth the effort ... get back to me if you want, and I will elaborate

If you need size 34 x 34 and like Diesel and Lucky Jeans, as well as Levis 501, 505, and cords, let me know. I brought two suitcases full of them when I returned from m6 last trip to the USA and hardly had the chance to wear most of them before slimming down to size 32.
