Even the fools get lucky sometimes :D But apart from the result, I think it was an exciting game to watch which could have ended either way. I only hope it was the last world cup for the referee.
 
I think Joachim Low deserves a special mention. Germany made it to at least the semi finals 4 times out of the 4 last world cups. Despite the sympathy for Argentina, no one deserved this more than Klose and company.
 
Overtime in soccer is analogous to keeping a terminally ill patient alive for another 15 minutes.
 
Well, I really wanted Argentina to win ... Among various reasons, it would have been a great middle finger to the Brazilians who have gone out of their way to support any team playing against Argentina.

But, more importantly, if Messi had won a World Cup, we would never have to hear the name of that coke-head hand-baller ever again.
