Ba Food Week

I was wondering if BA food week was worth checking out as there are several restaurants I would really like to try. We have something similar back home ("Winterlicious" & "Summerlicious") and while a number of great restaurants participate, the special menus are generally not nearly as good/interesting as what they normally offer.

This isn't a terribly active thread, but thought i would follow up here on my earlier post & mention that I went to Astor a couple of nights ago with a couple of friends, for the BA Foodweek dinner and it was excellent. I frankly lost count of the number of courses but they were all very good & beautifully presented. Really nice space as well.

Why is there in south america so much salmon used in preparing a good Sushi?

This "good Sushi" comment is laughable.

Because it's farmed in Argentina and Chile. One could certainly argue whether or not that constitutes a "good sushi."

Fish is a low fat, high protein food that has a range of health benefits. However, given what we know of fish and its sources today, we may have to re-examine this statement.

Fish can either be one of the best foods for you or detrimental to your health depending on where it is sourced. There is a world of difference between fish that is caught in the wild, farm-bred or farm-raised fish. The most common farm-raised fish are: salmon, tilapia, sea bass, catfish, and cod...
