Seems to be getting it's act together now, with a cold front coming up again from the south associated with an area of high pressure. The wind will intensify and rotate to the south east...a sudestada, which will push the level of the river upstream which may cause flooding in low lying areas.
This will be associated with thunderstorms and heavy rain. The weather is not likely to improve until Saturday.
A sort of Santa Rosa, if you like.
