Best award program to find flights to the US?

BA avios points used to fly on AA metal, in my experience

I do have miles in different programs just not American but i can seem to find availability. Do you see AA flights for 30K this month?

I see none this month. Some great deals in late February (25k one way). American gives away seats dirt cheap (in miles) if they think they won't fill the plane. Not an issue during summer holidays.
