I used to really like el malvon, but i have heard prices have gone up and quality has gone down. My little group of 5 expat friends used to brunch out every sunday but quality dropped while prices rose and it got to the point where we'd just meet in the park and everyone bring an item (bloody mary's, quiche, cheese and bread, fruit salad...)
If you're ok with eating an argentine breakfast, I can't recommend calcio in belgrano enough. Its on lacroze y 11 de septiembre, and the prices are wonderful. I get cafe con leche, agua con gas, fresh oj, and HUGE jamon y queso tostados for only 22 pesos. Can't beat that. They also have a 3 media luna option for 18, and regular tostados with cream cheese and jam for 15.
Also in belgrano is natural deli, on campos y gorostiaga, and they have french toast thats amazing, and fresh juices. Expensive though.
If anyone finds a place with USA style omelets, hash browns, and bottomless coffee, please share. I know you can make it at home but the effort level is high and my boyfriend is lazy.
