Hmmm, here's the conflicting "on the other hand". Looking at climate only with the idea that "WE" made this mess all by ourselves all during the 20th C omits the rest of history. This and other extinction-level events have taken place without con-trails or smoke spewing cars.

So I watched this bbc documentary this morning about global dimming , which is well worth a look but basically gave the idea we`re heading for something along the lines of Mad Max scenario in either ours or our childrens lifetime regardless of what we do about global emissions.

It gave the worst case scenario. Basically if we don't stop releasing greenhouse gasses we're all fucked because they may have underestimated the huge amount of cooling caused by the particles we were releasing along with the greenhouse gasses.

They need to start taking co2 out of the atmosphere through Bio-energy with carbon capture and storage, otherwise we are fucked.

And plankton which consumes co2 has reduced 40% since 1950. On top of that bees are reducing by a 1 billion a year in the u.s alone. They estimate by 2035 there will be no bees left in the u.s at the current rate of decline. And as Einstein said..

If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.

@gpop There is no historical evidence to support that the "Hebrews" were in Egypt, nor that "Jesus Christ" actually existed, and these are odd events to put on a climate chart made by a scientist which is a shame, because the actual curve is quite interesting and correct from my knowledge, though it does not prove that humans are not influencing climate change.

(yes, lots of historians accept that Jesus Christ existed, but this is not the same as proof from direct source).

Your request for tin foil is reasonable, but don't expect others to provide it.

Tin foil will help you stay warm if you wrap you entire body with it when you find yourself without a source of heat when the gas or electricity is off for an extended period of time and you don't have a wood burning stove or fireplace.

The fact that you made this post 15 minutes after I posted the link clearly demonstrates that you have not viewed the video which is 1 hour and 17 minutes in length.

It would be interesting to read a post from anyone who takes the time to watch it and can offer a different point of view and/or refute the information and/or the conclusions presented in the video.

On the contrary. It demonstrates that I don't require 1 hr and 17 mins to detect bullshit.

I'd like to see you try and wrap yourself in worlds thinnest tin foil that we get around there. I can't even wrap a baking dish without having it tear in 3 places.
