Bilingual schools advice

St. Andrews, Cardenal Newman, Michaelham, St.Georges, and Cristoforo Colombo, ORT and Jean Mermoz are where the local elite send their children. There are other schools just as good academically, but those give children access to a network of friends who will determine their future lives, should they stay in Argentina.

Here, the school you attended often sets your children's future social standing: whom they will marry, and who will remain their lifelong friends, able to give them access to good jobs, good clubs, etc.

It is sad, but that's the way it is. In the States, lasting friendships are mostly formed in college. Here, it is elementary school that counts.

Which area? In Zona Norte (the area to the north of the city of Buenos Aires, where a lot of expats live), the Austin bilingual school (https://www.austinebs-ah.edu.ar/) has a good reputation. The catchment area would be from Zarate to Ing. Maschwitz, and from Pilar to Cardales, more or less.
we moved to cardales and our 13 yr old daughter is attending holters natur . it's 510.00 us dollars a month. she likes it and doing good. we have been here a month now.

Holters has a good reputation, one of our friends sends his kids there too. I think they'll be moving down the road to El Club, the new development on Ruta 4.
