This is a sad story. Two young guys loosing their lives. Never understood the sport of Mountain Climbing.
Maybe because I don't like the cold. Aconcagua in Mendoza province is the second highest peak after Mount Everest.
Not to be taken lightly.

I dont see it as sad if they died doing what they loved. that to me is a good death. " life is on the wire, everything else is just waiting " k. wallenda.

Aconcagua is the highest peak outside of the Himalayas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_mountains

Though there are different paths to the summit, Aconcagua is one of the least technical peaks to climb (not sure which route these guys were on). It's the altitude and frost bite that keeps most people from making the summit.
 
They were on the Polish Glacier which is considered a moderate alpine climb.
