Whats the scoop. Is it true that I can just show up and get one upon arrival? Whats the turn around time if I do it at the consulado here in ba?

Does a color fotocopy of my YF vaccine work, or do I need an original?

i crossed by land in december and you could just pay right there at the border. i got a vaccine for yellow fever as well, but no one ever asked for it.

We paid in cash at the airport--they wanted USD no less, but this was a few years ago...

Has anyone gotten a Bolivia visa at the embassy here in Buenos Aires?

If so, what was the turn-around time for it? And what paperwork did they require?

Could not find clear information on their site. Would rather pay with ARS here in BA rather than USD at their airport.

Hi guy,

I was there two years ago. You certainly can get a visa upon arrival, paying in Dollar.
"Does a color fotocopy of my YF vaccine work, or do I need an original? "
It requires but they never ask for it.

If you are over 60 years old, you don't need a yellow fever vaccine, but need a letter from the doctor.

have fun,
nik
