boludo and pelotudo

I learned from my Argy friends the difference. Both literally mean "one with swelled/swelling balls" and boludo, depending on how you say it, either means "dude" or "bro" in the nice sense (Che, boludo!... pero, boludo, escuchame un segundo!) or means "asshole"/"jerk" in the negative sense... "Sos un boludo!" =You're an asshole! or "Qué boludo!" = What an asshole. But for pelotudo, it cannot mean anything like "friend", "buddy", "dude", "bro" EVER. It only means "asshole" or something of the same strength as asshole. It's very negative. Hope that helps!!!
