A very smart move on the part of the Brazilian gov't. They really need the hard currency this year more than ever.

Just came back and wish that they had lifted this van before my trip! I read about Zika and it is not generally life threatening even if you do get it. But literally know more than 50 persons who were just there vacationing and no problem with anyone. if one is really concerned, OFF usually works well.
