BAwithkids said:Thanks for the tip. If we buy them there, how do we get the actual tickets? Also, how long before a bus departs should you get to retiro? Earlier if you bought your ticket online?
Also, recommendations for the best seats to get? I was thinking the front seats on top would be ideal, but maybe they're too bright at night?
I second the recommendations to go and purchase at a plataforma 10 booth in person. It´s VERY easy, and there are a TON of locations all over the city. And you have the security of having your ticket immediately in hand.
I recommend the seats on the top right in front of the window. It was great having the view and you have curtains you can use to block out light.
I´d like to preface this with saying that I am not one to drug myself on long trips and never take anything to help me sleep on long flights. But I took a sleeping pill on the Iguazu bus and I would do it again! I slept from dinner til t hey made me get up for breakfast. Perhaps you could give your kids a little nyquil to help them along, I´m not a parent so Im not sure if that is AWFUL advice. But all I can say is I took the sleeping pill and my friend with me didn´t, and we had polar opposite experiences. Mine great and relaxing, hers not so much.
