I'm thinking of buying property in Argentina, yet with the current freeze on dollars, if chose to sell, how would I be able to get the proceeds in usd back to the States?

Well as mentioned in a previous post my bra can hold 10k in 100 dollar notes easily so get yourself a FF girlfriend and you're set.....
But seriously there are a number of cuevas who will come pick up the cash at the bank at the time of the sale and deposit the money into your US or other location account within 3 days charging a certain % of course. You fill out all of the forms at their offices beforehand and there's no receipt per se so it is a gamble but our experience was very positive and I haven't hard other expats with issues report such so far...if I recall correctly.
