Hey All

first time posting here!!
nice to meet you all :)))

just moved to BA from Tokyo a few weeks ago
and I live in Palermo Hollywood area...
Hope I can make some nice friends here since I am gonna be here
for a few years!! (for work)

Anyhow, I really am in desperate need of shoehorns
since it is so annoying every morning to put on my business shoes.

Does anyone know where I can buy one??
they sell them anywhere in Tokyo or the US for so cheap
but can't find any, at the mall or Jumbo / easey... etc
and my Spanish is far from good enough to ask.

If any of you have seen or bought one in BsAs,
please let me know where and how much it was.

This will be of great help!!

thanx everyone, and mucho gusto!!!

The are called "calzadores". You can get them at Pharmacies like Farmacity or any kind of place where you see they sell all random crap, like the chinesse stores (not the supermarkets, the little kosk like thing with assorted stuff)

I think Oggi, FEBO or Guante shoe stores sell them.
They are on Av. Sta Fe between Parana and Pena

some of the sales person speaks English so..
Around Oro y Beruti, I know a place that sells shoe laces and mend shoes but I don't think they speak English and they close very early.

Yes, now I remember Farmacity sells them too.

Roger, if you haven't had any luck with the other suggestions, I think I've seen then at Parque Centenario on week-ends. I would be happy to buy one for you, since I often go there. Not for shoe horns. My favorite bakery is nearby. :D

I also live in the Palermo Hollywood area, so getting it to you isn't a problem.
