Can you insert your LinkedIn URL in a private message

I have tried to send a PM, but it keeps blowing up and I suspect inserting URL's in messages is verboten?
Or someone might have a better answer?

It happens often....I'll try to contact admin to fix..!

It tries to create an embedded card with a mini annotation (like when you post a link to an article), and LinkedIn sends something strange in response. This is LinkedIn specific and happens on their side.

Try to do it this way with unfurl=false:

[URL unfurl="false"]https://www.linkedin.com/in/some-name/[/URL]
