Changing Pesos to US $'s Bigger Amounts

Can anybody recommend the best place to get the best rate to change around 20k pesos into US $?

So, these exchange houses, do they give you more pesos to the dollar than the banks? Or is that a stupid question?

Answer to both posters above is YES. Exchange houses do give better rates than banks.

Pedro, do you think that those houses could beat the cost of cash advances through ATMs? If so, it may serve me better to come back with a fistful of dollars (no, not a suitcase with eight hundred thousands!).
