Cheddar

I'm surprised you UK guys hadn't heard of Cracker Barrel. It's a very common US Kraft product.

I had never seen it here, so thanks for posting. :)

Dont know where you get that idea from. Cracker barrel is one of many cheddars a UKian will find in his her local supermarket. Small grocery stores sell it.

My Mum used to love Cracker Barrel many years ago back in Blighty.
I also tried that Scottish cheddar they had at Jumbo but wasn't impressed at all.
No flavour to speak of.

Jumbo carries http://www.seriouslystrongcheddar.co.uk/ which is British, if I want Bruitish cheddar, I'd rather get La Suerte from any good deli.

I love cracker barrel cheese, i saw this for sale i think at Ichiban in Barrio Chino

You bought the mild right?

The best brand I found is La Suerte, also recommended by other people here. It's locally made and delicious. Sometimes I find it at the wine store we shop at.

I am not ashamed to say this... I saw the crackerbarrel package two days ago, bought a block, and ate it in a day... I think I have hit rock bottom, but you know what? I don't care! It was DELICIOUS!
