For those who like great chocolate, but also want to eat healthy, here's my recommendation:

El Aguila Costa Marfil 60%

The Ecuador 60% has trans fat in it, as does many brands of chocolate and alfajores if you read the labels.

Yes, you can get some good chocolate like Lindt's and Fenix (made locally), but you will be charged import prices. Considering I bought a bar of Lindt's 70% recently in the states for $2 US, it's hard to spend 4 or 5 times the price for the same here.

The Costa Marfil is about 10 pesos most places. Good stuff :)

I'll be posting more healthy eating tips in Buenos Aires on about a weekly basis.

Enjoy!

Is it possible to get Moxos (Bolivian) chocolate (maybe in bulk?) down here? It should and I know for a fact it was possible 2 years ago.

thanks

I've never seen it, but then I don't live in the center where some things are more accessible. *shrugs* Do they have a 60%+ cacao? If so, Id' be interested if someone knows...
