Citizenship For A Child Born To Foreign Parents

Hi,
Does a child born to foreign parents on visitor visa grant a citizenship automatically? Or an application must be made to getc the citizenship?

Yes. (Almost) anyone born on Argentine soil is an Argentine citizen.

And the parents can then request permanent residency, as the parents of an Argentine citizen.

(Or even citizenship - bajocero could help with that).
