Citizenship requirements

The main thing is tha Arg citizenship can not be turned into a CBI or a "hack" for passport collectors.
There is a lot of propaganda for on X and youtube by middle men that "how easy" is to get Arg citizenship.
Thats where lies the problem.
If Arg wants to collect money, they can "sell" Permanent residency or Golden visa but not "Citizenship".
I believe with the new ICE police in Arg, citizenship will be even more difficult if not impossible.
I believe the main target of present govt is visa free entry for Arg passport holders to USA and "not" a CBI citizenship program.

If the Golden Visa comes with an Argentine passport in return for an "nvestment of $500,000USD, why should those who can afford to buy one care if it's called citizenship?

Perhaps the information in this article is inaccurate, but I got the impression that "citizenship" by investment is just around the corner:

Which countries (if any) actually require the physical presence of their citizens who are "collecting" apostilled documents required by Argentine migraciones?
Not saying it's a requirement of the home country. It's just that depending on the residency category (some require a longer list of more complex documents than others) and how much 'home help' a person can draw on (friends, family members willing and able to do the legwork), in some cases, it will simply be impractical to do all this remotely.

And not all foreigners seeking citizenship come from countries with (reasonably) well-functioning bureaucracies. Expats from some of the neighbouring countries here in South America would find it almost impossible to gather documents remotely from here. The trail might start, for example, with a birth certificate held in a municipality in a remote town in the Andes and end up many months later at the dispatch desk of a foreign ministry in the capital.

Anything less than Citizenship can be revoked at the Government's discretion (treason aside). That is the difference.

The question then, that remains to be answered is if the government is actually going to offer "irrevokabl Argentine citizenship" for an investment of $500,000USD.

PS: i wonder if the government will revoke the passport after the investor loses all of their investment in a country with an unstable economy and a history of corruption and discontinues the business activity in Argentina...or refuse to renew it.

what is the urgent need to sell citizenship? Please explain

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on leaving the country while waiting to be assigned a date to swear citizenship?
