We have a stove hood with removable and presumably cleanable metal filters, anyone know what product will work to clean them? Based on the look of them no one has attempted this prior to me so years of buildup. Alternatively is there a place to buy new ones at a reasonable price? I tried searching for just the filters: filtros metallicos lavables (I think that's what they're called based on googling) and only got complete hood replacement options. Any ideas?

filtro para/de campana is what I would search for in Mercadolibre.
But why change them if they are just greasy?

Put them in your bathtub overnight with hot water + a lot of washing liquid on the filter + scrub the filter with an heavy duty brush, that should do it I guess.

I washed mine after letting them soak for a while and they came out like new!

What did you use to wash them?

The problem is it's all once piece, can't really take it apart and there are multiple layers of metal so the center pieces don't seem to be getting clean.
