This year I am doing Christmas with Argentines, which means going to their house for dinner than going clubbing. I find that both weird and awesome at the same time.

I have been explaining to Argentines that in the US, Christmas is all about family and you can´t just bail on them to hang out with your friends most of the time. I think it is nice that here they reserve time for both family and friends.

What are you guys doing?

My friends and I have started having gatherings on Christmas night, after the family festivities are over, which is usually by 9pm for me. It's one of my favorite nights of the year, as everybody lives all over the country/world and it might be the only time I get to see them.

I'm going out for Christmas with Argentines and I feel rather guilty... this is the time when I am usually reading christmas stories to my baby cousins or putting out cookies for Santa!! or maybe even a church service! ... but now I'll be dancing to some Avicii and Don Omar! jaja
