Coat Sliced

Noticed in work today that the inside lining of my coat has been sliced, in an attempt to get in behind the pocket lining of the outside pocket. Luckily the coat is a decent wax jacket I brought from home and they couldn't cut through, they could only just scratch it.

The sad thing is not the attempted theft, but that I immediately thought I should go and buy a cheaper coat, not quite as nice and one that will draw less attention to myself!

Is it a Barbour? Surely a good tradesman could repair that.
I have one of those and it's so old and battered it doesn't look worth nicking.

It is, no problem to sew up. I guess the distinctive inner lining and big pockets picked me out! Standard subte issue black overcoat required.
