Commodities prices for Argentina in the next decade

Both YPF and Organizacion Techint seem to have real size by global standards. Some others in the top 25 are US multinationals. And perhaps some of the other Argentinian companies listed are state-owned(?).
I seem to recall an Argentinian oilman who was trying to arrange financing for oil and gas pipelines in Kazakhstan until he was eventually shouldered aside by US oil giants.
YPF is not Argentinian and eventhough Techint is a company to be proud of it can't survive alone(Putin here you are) and it's not one of the 1000 bigest companies in the world.

European, North American, and Japanese multinationals also depend on state support of one form or another to survive and prosper. The British prime minister is probably the chief weapons salesman for UK, Inc. German and French ambassadors double up as salesmen for Airbus. The US government pries open markets for its companies and provides the security umbrella without which business would be impossible. It also often provides tax-funded research free of charge to the private sector. I can go on this vein. In fact, take out the modern state and large-scale business becomes impossible. Laissez-faire is a pipe dream.

Interesting, but what is your point?

*Shrug* What is your point in saying Techint can't survive alone? The insinuation seems to be that large corporations elsewhere can stand on their own feet. This is pure propaganda. State policy and intervention are integral to the corporate world.

Gazprom wants Techint so they buy them. It's not that hard to understand.
It will happen to every profitable Argentine company
