Cost or Air Conditioner installation

Anyone bought aircon recently? Here the shops dont offer installation service, asked the contact brand itself. Seller was saying it could cost like $30 mil, now a brand staff is saying $200 mil.

The installation equipment of tubing, electrical wires, two metal L brackets etc.. comes as a kit. You can find the true cost of that on ML or ask an independent seller store near your location. That alone could cost 50-100 depending on the meter length you need. Then the cost of the licensed installer which is no where close to 30 you were originally quoted.

Seems I misunderstood, maybe the seller said $300 mil. still surprised how high it is
 
To endorse what @Quilombo just said: it may cost more but make sure you use a qualified installer. You have no idea of the complications that may arise if you don't.

If he needs to install everything from power to the copper piping and pull cable etc it's probably reasonable.

If the pre-installation is done then it's expensive.
