If you've had COVID-19, the infection itself provides protection for at least 3 months.
However, you can get vaccinated before that time if you wish, once you have received
clinical and epidemiological clearance.
Bring your vaccination card.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by someone over 18 to receive vaccinations.
For home vaccinations, please call 147 to evaluate your case.

Information about the vaccines we are administering in the City, received from the National Government.
The currently available vaccines are:
Moderna monovalent (from 6 months of age) to start and complete schedules and for reinforcements.
Pfizer monovalent (from 12 years of age) to start and complete schedules and for boosters.
* All persons who are due to receive any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine must make an appointment or
may attend the Hospital and Cesacs Vaccination Centers by spontaneous demand.

Vaccines can cause post-vaccination side effects:
Local (at the injection site): pain, swelling, bruising, redness, itching, or fever.
General: malaise, fever or chills, fatigue, nausea, joint and muscle pain, headache,
myalgia, arthralgia, or other short-term reactions such as a short-term flu-like illness.
If these symptoms persist, contact the Health Center nearest you.

People I know who got the Covid-19 vaccine got Covid or worse.
I did not take the vaccine, and I did not get Covid.
How about that!

I know many that didn't take the vaccine and got Covid or worse. If we think to the times before the vaccine existed, nobody was vaccinated and so many people perished from the virus. People still perish from the virus regardless of vaccine status.

You're free to steer clear, but having information on where to get vaccines is helpful for those who'd like them. I got the first two jabs and have never had Covid. I have a friend who didn't get vaccinated who has had long covid since she got a terrible case of it early on in the pandemic. She was very healthy, young and has been basically bed bound since, there's very little research and many doctors gaslight her, as though she's lying. My cousin's three children (none vaccinated) have had multiple rounds of covid and get sick very easily now with other bugs each season.

Thing is, our experiences are our own, and obviously differ from person to person, so using these anecdotes isn't effective at all. I say, more information is better than holding it back and keeping people who want the shot in the dark. I'm glad you haven't had Covid either, I'm also glad that people still have the opportunity to get the updated vaccines if it suits them. I haven't, but I certainly won't condescend or mock people who choose to stay informed on vaccines and receive them. Doesn't seem helpful in the least, honestly.

I got my flu vax a couple of weeks ago at the local Cecac clinic free of charge. The nurse there suggested I could get a pneumonia vax too. So I rolled up my sleeve on the left arm and got that one too. No negative side effects so far except for a sore arm on the right side for a few days. You’ll need to show your DNI if you decide to get it.
