Cueva - Pounds Sterling

Quick question for the Brits - my brother is coming over and did not manage to get any dollars.
The 'cueva' I use here in Belgrano does not buy pounds - anyone know of one in the centre that does?

Pounds are a problem at the moment . The offical exchange house that was the biggest player in the official market was closed last year and since then its been difficult to find a cueva who will change at a decent rate or even at all.
If he is here for a while he can change them into UY Pesos in Urguay with no problem at all and then convert the UY Pesos into into dollars

Any chance he could change them to Euro's before he comes?

Try Columbus SA on San Martin 529 between Lavalle and Tucuman, which is not a cueva.
I know they have changed £ in the past.
