Delicious appetizers tonight

Looks yummy.......I can just imagine what caviar costs here. I used to buy a small 1oz tin of caviar at Zabars on Broadway in New York and it cost $100 U$D in 2002, so I am guessing here its about $800 pesos per ounce at this point.

I buy very high quality knock off Uruguayan "caviar" for 210/10g. The price of the real stuff makes me crawl back in my shell and cry for mommy. Salmon roe on the other hand is very good value for flavor (although a completely different flavor fom caviar) and is available from the pescadaria at entree rios y mexico
