Imagine being this clueless about politics, lol. Fox news at work.

The fact that Sanders was defeated in a primary doesn't mean that his ideas disappear into the ether. That's not how movements work.

He already managed to shift the overton window of the US, which is why DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) membership has been booming for a year. Not to mention all the new progressives/socialists being elected right now in local elections, like Jamaal Bowman & Cori Bush. The squad grows bigger by the day. The worst part is that Sanders didn't even advocate for socialism (aka workers owning the means of production & abolition of private property) but rather social democracy (aka nordic style capitalism). Not that you would know the difference between these two terms, but still. Fox news propaganda is a powerful thing for fear-ridden conservatives.
