He was arrested because he had a gun and pepper spray when trying to board a plane to Huston.

It had nothing to do with visa violations.

To imply this has anything to do with the other "denied exit" thread is misleading, to say the least.

That's a pretty generalized statement. There are about a million US citizens that come through EZE each year [plus or minus] but this is the first time in my 8 years that I've heard about some goof-ball Texan trying to board a plane with a weapon and ammo. The guy must really be a simpleton because the airlines give you very clear and easy rules for proper gun transport. IE there are many hunters that come to AR. This guy was just flat out dumb.
