I just want to warn any expats away from the services of Dental Argentina (http://www.dental-argentina.com/). They advertise in the Buenos Aires Herald which is how I heard of them but having spent 5k USD on crowns and veneers, 2 of which have fallen off less than 6 weeks after treatment I feel I really cannot recommend them.
I did visit other cosmetic dentists for quotes and was impressed by the hi- tech super modern facilities in Dental Argentina. Moreover Gustavo, one of the owners was very nice and not at all pushy and has offered to replace the veneers but having had my previous veneers 15 years with not a single issue it seems I have fallen prey to inexperienced people who really don´t know what they are doing - perhaps not the owner but the lesser staff he delegated to perform the work (evil Melina who had me 3 hours in the chair and injected the novocaine so high that I couldnt see out of my right eye!) . It is not just a matter of veneers falling off but the fact the ones that still remain are like blunt wooden teeth that means I cannot bite anything, not even a sandwich and have constant tooth pain.
Before Steve Bsas starts lecturing me on the vanity of veneers, please note I had serious heart problems as a child and have severly discolored teeth as a result of the meds and welcome the veneers to help me lead a more normal life.
I hate to diss any service provider but I really fear this one advertises to expats as they hope they will leave and not be able to report any issues.
