where can i find a good dim sum place in buenos aires?

In Barrio Chino...especially on Saturday and Sunday. There are locales on Mendoza between Arribenos and Montaneses that sell it over the counter at the sidewalk.

My favorite place is Siempre Verde in Chinatown... it's vegetarian Taiwanese, so they use tofu or seitan as meat substitutes in traditional dishes. Their steamed dumplings are delicious, as are the "meatballs," spring rolls, this sticky rice/peanut thing... mmmm.

I was going to ask, I've never seen dim sum in Chinatown. Street food yes but not what I think of as dim sum. I actually asked at one of the restaurants and after being corrected that Dim Sum was from Hong Kong and is not Chinese food:p, the waiter told me it doesn't really exist here.

Royal China in Puerto Madero apparently has dim sum (or some version of it) including pork buns. I haven't been yet though so can't comment.
