Dni Not Arrived! Lost?

Mine took about 8 months to arrive, and after it was emitted they supposedly made attempts to deliver it to my home address but I wasn't there to receive it. no 'attempted delivery' slip was ever left, so I don't know if it is true. I was told that because they could not deliver it, it had been returned to a central delivery office, where I had to go and collect it. the place is in Once. I had to go with ID and my precaria, take a number and wait a couple of hours and they gave it to me there.

Ministro Roberto Randazo a emitido su dni y proximamente sera entregado.
they will only leave it if you have the receipt for it.
if not it goes back to them.

I would call the central office, confirm it is there and go pick it up. I waited for it to be delivered and it never was sent. When I went to the central office it only took about 30 minutes.

I guess we're stuck for a while anyway as my husband's passport was send off with a visa application and he won't get it back till July...so if it's not delivered, he won't have id until then.
