I can't really help you since mine is Swedish and doesn't have a description in Spanish on it.

Mercadolibre is usually useful in finding out what to look for, but in this case I only get cable finders. Except for the universal finder from bosh. It has a drywall setting that should work.

Ok I went to the hardware store last weekend to try and buy one. Guy looked at me like I was crazy and asked me how you find wood and I ended up trying to explain technology I don't understand very well myself. If nobody has one to lend, does anyone know where I could buy one, or how to say it in Spanish?

What you really need is a wood finder, not electrical or metal finder. metal finder is something totally different.
